Named after the area between Venice Beach and Santa Monica, California, which became a thriving haven for the surf/skateboard subculture of the mid-1970s, the Dogtown Collection is derived from a combination of the vibrant color schemes of Southern California graffiti murals as well as the original vibrant colors of Pacific Ocean Park, which closed and crumbled into the Pacific Ocean in the late 1960s.
